What is the difference between the different Nymph models?

The difference lies in the number of air chambers and available functions. In pressotherapy, the rule is: the more chambers, the more targeted the pressure build-up and the more effective the treatment. Nymph 6 offers more targeted treatment than the entry-level model. Nymph 4. The professional top segment is the Nymph 12 — with 12 chambers, 8 programs, individual pressure control per chamber, and Hold and Interval functions. For wireless use, the Nymph 8 PLUS en Nymph 12 PLUS available on battery.

Is the Nymph 6 suitable for lipoedema or lymphedema?

Yes. Pressotherapy is used as supportive therapy for both lipoedema and lymphedema. Always consult your doctor or physiotherapist first to determine which device and settings are suitable for your situation.

Is the Nymph 6 suitable for athletes?

Is this device reimbursed by the mutual health insurance fund or health insurance?

In Belgium, a pressotherapy device for home use is not reimbursed by the health insurance fund. In the Netherlands, reimbursement via basic insurance is possible with a medical indication — this applies to every insured person, regardless of the type of supplementary insurance. Important: you must first have a medical certificate from your GP or specialist before purchasing the device. Submit your application to your health insurer and wait for approval before ordering — advance purchases are not reimbursed.
